September 9th Events

Parade

• Our parade will take place from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
• Alumni can enter floats in the parade and participate in the parade.
• The parade route will take place on Johnson Drive, and will run to Johnson and Lamar.
• Individuals and alums interested in participating the parade should contact Kate Miner, Pep Club sponsor, at katherineminer@smsd.org

Pre-Game Tailgate

• We will have a pre-game tailgate from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the kick-off of the football game.
• The location is TBD, but it will be an outdoor event located in close proximity to the main gate of the football stadium.
• The menu will be traditional tailgate food (hamburgers, hot dogs, chips).
• Ms. Monica Morris, junior class sponsor, will be the contact for the tailgate.  She can be reached at monicamorris260@smsd.org
